Started
with realism, but after a stay in Aix-en-Provence, influenced by
Cézanne, went into research on rythm of the light throught the surface,
using objects and bodies as a subject.
For two years I painted
three chairs and a table in many different ways, and I then understood
that the subject became an obstacle.
At
that period I also discovered Torres Garcia's constructivism and Sean
Scully, which ifluenced me in a way of letting the tension be on the
canvas.
Then I painted the irreductible series.
Through this series I was inconsciously trying to liberate the tension accumulated after the events 9/11 an Irak war.
Followed a peacefull serie of opened doors and windows.
